General Rules

• No memberships or horse competition licenses necessary
• No dress code- All respectful clothing is allowed
• Must show in a western saddle
• Can show any aged horse 2 handed in a smooth snaffle
• Can show 2 handed in a shank bit, however if you start 1 handed in a shank bit and go 2 handed you will be penalized
• No showing bridless
• Schooling of horse is allowed but will not except abuse.

High Point & Reserve High Point For The Show

Daily high point buckles and reserve high point prizes will be awarded to the competitor with the most accumulated points throughout the show.

To be eligible for the daily high points competitor must ride the same horse in a minimum of 5 of the 7 events (same horse and rider combination). 

The more events you compete in the more points could potentially be acquired.

If there is a tie for high point at the end of the day the Mechanical Cow will be the decided tie break class.

Points are calculated as followed:

• 1st- 6 points
• 2nd- 5 points
• 3rd- 4 points
• 4th- 3 points
• 5th- 2 points
• 6th- 1 point

Year End High Point Trophy Saddles

Starting January 1st horse and rider will compete in the eligible division and will/ can compete in the same division until December 31st.

To be eligible for the year end trophy saddles horse and rider must be the same pairing throughout the year and must compete in a minimum of 6 out of the 12 shows.

If you have won 3 or more daily high points or year end trophy high point throughout the previous year you are know longer eligible to compete in the following divisions:

• Walk- Trot Adult
• Walk- Trot Youth
• Green Horse
• Novice
