Ranch Horse Divisions

Adult walk/ trot is open to any aged rider over the age of 18 year old. This division is for any rider who isn't confident enough to lope or the horse isn't ready for lope. Any horse & rider combination showing in this division can't show in any other loping division. The horse can show in a lope division with another exhibitor.

Youth age as of January 1st of the current year will determine eligibility. The Youth division is for youth competitors 18 year olds and under. This is a walk, trot division. If competitors show in this division they are not eligible to show in the Youth Walk, Trot, Lope division.

The Prime Time classes, for amateur (non professionals) exhibitors 50 and over, are designed to provide an avenue of competition for our more mature amateur exhibitors.

The green horse is open to any aged horse. This division is based on the horses experience. Horses that are new to showing or haven't shown much.

This division is designed for beginning non professionals to minimally accomplished exhibitors.

The description of non-pro eligibility is as follows:

Has not received payment, directly or indirectly for riding, training, assisting in training, showing horse(s) at any time during the past five (5) years.

Has not received payment directly or indirectly for instructing another person or conducting a seminar in riding, training, driving or showing a horse any time during the past five (5) years.

A non pro may show in the Open division without losing their non pro eligibility as long as requirements for a non pro are still met.

The Open division is open to any professional or non-professional exhibitor with any horse regardless of past winnings.

The Mustang class is for branded BLM mustangs and is open to non professionals and professionals.
